HealthCareCAN co-leads the Quality Mental Health Care Network (QMHCN), a pan-Canadian network of health sector leaders, in partnership with the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC). As part of the network, The Quality Mental Health Care Framework, has been updated by HealthCareCAN through extensive consultations with people with lived and living experience and subject matter experts. HealthCareCAN has also developed a toolkit with tailored guidance, implementation strategies and monitoring and evaluation guidelines to help implement the framework. In conjunction with MHCC, the toolkit will be available as an interactive website in summer 2025. HealthCareCAN co-presented with the MHCC, an oral presentation at the Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR) conference in May 2025, to build further awareness of the QMHCN, the framework and the toolkit.
